Experimentation
Being utterly convinced that wood bears brighter prospects than simply being a decorative material, we perpetually seek to innovate in its possible work forms.
For example :
• We probe the properties of laminated wood in collaboration with CRITT Matériaux
• We work on developing the OVL (Oriented Veneer Layup) technique, a laminated wood process, which lays wood layers according to the orientation of their fibres, in order to enhance mechanical resilience
• We develop wooden bike frames using composite woods
• We have developed a bonding system which is self-fastening
• Lab tests are regularly conducted to assess the resistance of structures
